center for high technology and innovation.

that to make a reference to silicon, a semi-conductor material used
in many electronic components.

also known as the Valley of Hearts Delight.

Frederick Terman and William Shockley are both considered like the
fathers of Silicon Valley. But it’s Don Hoefler that first uses the
term « Silicon Valley » in the weekly trade newspaper on
January 11, 1971.

world's largest high-tech corporations have set home to the
Silicon Valley, like Meta, Apple, Google, and OpenAI.
With this we can add the

Valley.

The startups are called by the term « unicorn ». This
term was invented by Aileen Lee.
But nowadays, Silicon
Valley could become the epicenter of innovation with regard to the
climate crisis.
