Barack Obama was born on August 4, 1961, in Hawaii. he’s only president who was born outside the U.S mainland. His mother Ann dunham, was 18 years old and his father Barack Obama sr., was 27 years old. When he was 6 years old, Obama moved to indonesia with his mother to join his step father and he came back to Honolulu in 1971 to live with his maternel grandparents until being graduated in 1979 and moved to Los Angeles. In february 1981 he mad his first public speech to participate in the disinvesment from South Africa. In 1983 he became a graduate of political science from the Colombia University in New York. In February 1988 he has been accepted from the Harvard University and in 1990 he’s the first black man who was editor-in-chief at the prestigious Harvad Law Review. At the end of his study, Obama came back to Chicago to became a constitutional law teacher until 2004, he was in a legal office about the defense of civil rights.

In 1996, Obama was elected by the Illinois senate, and he defended the cause of homosexuals and make a raise funds for the AIDS. In 2000 he tried to be elected at the democratic primary but he lost against Bobby Rush. On February 10, 2007 Obama announced his candidact for President of the United States in front of the Old State Capitol building in springfield.

Barack Obama was the 44th President of the United States and the fisrt who was a black president.During his presidency, he focused on economic recovey, healthcare reform, foreign policy, and social progress. One of his most important achievements was the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare), which expanded health insurance coverage to millions of AmericansObama also supported climate change action, and he defended civil rights. Obama strongly supported women’s rights, including equal pay, access to healthcare, and reproductive rights. His administration promoted gender equality. He was also a strong supporter of LGBT rights. During his presidency, same-sex marriage became legal nationwide in 2015, and his administration worked to protect LGBT people from discrimination in areas such as employment, healthcare, and education. Overall, Barack Obama’s presidency was marked by efforts to reform healthcare, rebuild the economy, strengthen diplomacy, and promote social justice.

Barack Obama met Michelle Robinson in 1989 while working at a law firm in Chicago. They got married in 1992 and built a strong partnership based on mutual respect and shared values. Michelle later became First Lady of the United States and was known for her commitment to education and healthy living.The couple has two daughters, Malia (born in 1998) and Sasha (born in 2001). Barack Obama has often described his role as a father as one of the most important parts of his life.
